Terms & Conditions

These terms cover the 3SETS iPhone app and the 3SETS website. By using either, you agree to them. Please read them with the Privacy Policy, which explains what we do with your data.

Who can use 3SETS

You must be 13 or over. You give your date of birth when you sign up, and we do not make an account for anyone under 13. If we learn that an account belongs to someone under 13, we delete it.

If you are 13 to 17, some things work differently to keep you safe. Your Social profile starts private: you are left out of search, only friends can message you, and your posts are for friends. You can change these in Social → Settings. Sharing where you are on the map starts off, and if you turn it on, only your friends see it. You only see friends on the map.

Your account

You make your account in the app, with an email address or Sign in with Apple.

• Give an email address you can receive mail at. It is how you confirm your account and reset your password.
• Keep your password to yourself. You are responsible for what happens under your account.
• One account per person. Do not pretend to be someone else.

You can delete your account at any time in the app: Profile → Delete account. This removes your account and everything in it and cannot be undone. See the Privacy Policy for details.

Social

Social lets you post, comment, share stories and reels, message people, join crews and challenges, and train together. You are responsible for what you post and send.

You must not post or send anything that:

• is sexual, or shows nudity;
• sexualises a child, or tries to contact a child for a harmful purpose;
• encourages suicide, self-harm or eating disorders;
• threatens, bullies, harasses or humiliates anyone, or shares someone's private information;
• attacks people for their race, ethnicity, religion, sex, gender identity, sexual orientation, disability or nationality;
• sells or sources illegal drugs, steroids, prescription drugs or weapons, or promotes anything illegal;
• shows gore or serious injury for shock;
• is spam, a scam or advertising;
• breaks the law, or copies someone else's work without permission.

Normal gym and physique content is fine, as are strong opinions and banter.

How we enforce it — everything posted on Social is checked automatically by an AI model before others see it, and anything reported is checked again. Content that breaks these rules is not shown, or is removed. A person can review any decision if you email us.

Each refusal or removal counts against you. Three in 30 days suspends your Social access for 7 days. Another suspension within 90 days of the last one is 30 days. We may close an account for serious or repeated breaches, or where the law requires it.

Reporting and blocking — you can report a post, comment, story, message, profile or crew from its menu in the app. You can block anyone: you will not see each other in Social.

Your content — what you post stays yours. You give us permission to store it and show it to the people you chose, for as long as it is on 3SETS. That permission ends when you delete it or your account.

Fundraisers — a fundraiser links to a page on a charity platform. Donations are made on that platform, under its terms. We are not part of that arrangement and cannot refund donations.

The map — on Social, other people can see roughly where you are. The Privacy Policy explains who sees what and how to turn it off.

Coins, challenges and rewards

You earn coins for using 3SETS, for example for posting and for taking part in challenges.

• Coins have no cash value.
• They cannot be bought, sold, exchanged for money, or transferred to anyone else.
• We may take back coins earned by mistake, by breaking these terms, or for content that is later removed.
• We may change how coins are earned or what they are for. Coins end when your account is deleted.

Challenge rewards are coins and awards in the app. They are not prizes and have no cash value.

Gym Buddy and other AI features

Gym Buddy chats, reading food photos and the website's "Ask 3SETS" chat use an AI model. Its answers can be wrong. Check anything that matters, especially food figures.

Gym Buddy gives general encouragement and fitness guidance only. It is not a doctor, a dietitian or a personal trainer, and it does not give medical advice.

Health and fitness

3SETS is not medical advice and is not a substitute for a doctor or a qualified professional.

Exercise and changes to your diet carry risk. If you have a medical condition, an injury, are pregnant, or are unsure whether something is safe for you, talk to a doctor or a qualified professional first. Stop if something hurts.

Figures in the app, such as calorie targets, recovery, heart and sleep figures, are estimates or copies of what your devices recorded. They are not clinical measurements. Do not rely on them where being wrong matters.

Plans

3SETS has three plans: Go, which is free, and Plus and Pro.

Plus and Pro are not on sale yet. When they are:

• they will be sold as subscriptions through Apple, and Apple's terms apply to the purchase;
• the price, billing period and any free trial will be shown before you buy;
• subscriptions renew automatically unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the end of the current period;
• you manage or cancel them in your Apple ID settings, and refunds are handled by Apple.

Our content

The 3SETS name, logo, designs, characters, artwork and the content of the app and website belong to us or are used with permission. You may use them only to use 3SETS. You may not copy, sell or reuse them.

What you put into the app, such as your sessions, notes and figures, stays yours.

Changes to the app

We may change, add or remove features. We will not delete your training history without telling you first.

We may suspend or close an account that is used to break these terms, to harm other people, or to attack the service.

What we are responsible for

We are responsible for loss you suffer that is a foreseeable result of us breaking these terms or failing to use reasonable care and skill.

We are not responsible for loss that was not foreseeable, for business losses, or for anything caused by events outside our reasonable control.

Nothing in these terms limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud, or for anything else the law does not allow us to limit. Your rights as a consumer under UK law are not affected.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. If a change matters, we will tell you in the app or on this page before it takes effect. If you do not agree, you can stop using 3SETS and delete your account.

Law

These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have jurisdiction. If you live in Scotland or Northern Ireland, you may also bring proceedings in your own courts.
